Quay Software are re-locating, the problem is that they are not taking any of their support staff.
They have decided to pool a bunch of misfits together to provide 'LIVE SUPPORT' instead.
I can only say that I feel sorry for their clients who will have to now speak to a jumbled bunch of piss artists instead of a dedicated support team.
I am now looking for a new role so any offers, please let me know.
Occupation
Technical Support Manager
Working in the Financial Software sector I manage a team of eight support staff.
We deal with all internal and external support to our clients and staff resolving issues as they arise.

My main role is to oversee the support required and to delegate staff to these specific tasks.

Working in a support department can get pretty hectic at times with queries coming in from our clients via phone, email & fax.
These calls take priority and are resolved via fax, phone, email or remote dialin to their PC's.

You do get the odd occassion where a particular call can make you smile and if you have ever worked in support you will know what I mean.
